A range of affordable flat and intermediate monofilament shooting lines for use with shooting heads in both single-handed and two-handed fishing.
The flat Compline II is finer than the old Compline on the thinner side. A slightly more "rectangular" shape.

It has the same amount of stretch as the previous version and is a little softer in handling, especially when used several days in a row. Because of the smaller diameter, we recommend using this line with a much higher breaking strain than Compline.
For example, a 50 lb Compline II will work well with 9/10 and 10/11 wt rods. The 42 lb version works well with 8/9 wt rods and can even be used on 7/8 outfits. The 35 lb version lends itself very well to fishing with Switch and Single Hand rods, and the 25 lb version is the perfect combo for single handed rods and light ULS work. Being a little more supple, this line has some advantages when it comes to stretching it out and getting rid of the kinks that have formed from tangling.
It stays straight in colder weather and is easy to stretch. The flatter, wider profile picks up a little more water resistance when cast, which cuts the distance slightly compared with the Compline, but only marginally.
