The spool on the smaller reels has a quick, easy release screw, while on the salmon size it has a waterproof, secure pop-up system.

NYMPH & DRY
This Hero reel is ideal for #3 - #5 rods when using standard WF lines or special nymphing lines. It has a large arbor for fast line retrieve and its narrow spool lays the line very neatly. The full-frame rim stops thin nymphing lines from slipping into the wrong places. This reel balances longer rods perfectly.

46 and 79 These standard Heros are true all-terrain reels for every kind of fishing.

46 handles traditional river fishing and lighter stillwaters with ease. It takes a WF6F fly line with plenty of backing and its weight is matched to balance rods of the same line weight.

79 is a big brother that handles everything from heavier river fishing through to predator fishing and lighter saltwater work.
