Claim a warranty or order a replacement for a broken section here. Check the terms for your brand first on the Rod warranties page: with Guideline and G-Loomis, within the first two years, you do not need to place an order.
Important: always keep the broken section, shipping is 8,65 € unless you collect from our shop in Madrid, and a warranty order cannot be combined with other items.
Warranty or repair for your rod
This page is where you claim a warranty or order a replacement for a broken section. Before placing your order, check the terms for your brand: you will find them all on the Rod warranties page, and depending on the manufacturer you may not need to place an order at all.
If your rod is a Guideline or a G-Loomis · Shimano, it is less than two years old and it broke while fishing, do not place an order. Write to [email protected] with a photo showing all the sections, the broken one included, and your proof of purchase: we will process it as a warranty claim and the section is free of charge.
How to place the order
Choose your model from the drop-down on this page and place the order. In the comments field, tell us the brand, the model and which section is broken, counting from the tip. Once we receive your order we will call you to confirm the model and the section to be replaced.
If your rod is an Orvis, write to us first at [email protected]: the manufacturer asks us for the serial number and a photo of all the sections before accepting the replacement.
What you need to know
- Keep the broken section. Every manufacturer requires it in order to grant a warranty: the section itself, a photo of it or, in some cases, the whole rod. Without it the claim is not accepted as a warranty and is treated as an additional section, at a higher cost that varies from brand to brand.
- The warranty covers the 1st, 2nd and 3rd sections. If what has broken is the butt section, the warranty carries a surcharge of between 40 and 60 € depending on the manufacturer and the rod model.
- Shipping is 8,65 € and is payable by you, unless you prefer to collect the rod from our shop in Madrid. In that case, choose the collect-in-store option when you place the order.
- A warranty order has to go on its own. It cannot be combined with other items, so if you want to buy anything else you will need to place two separate orders.
- Timescales are approximate. They depend on the manufacturer and may take longer for reasons outside our control.
The terms for your brand
Every manufacturer has its own timescales, its own exclusions and its own way of handling claims, and some cover the section free of charge for the first two years. They are all explained on the Rod warranties page.
