Fly Casting Class

In the flycenter Club we understand fly casting in a different way to how it has been thought up to now.

The practice and continued learning of fly casting, also guided by qualified instructors, is the only way to improve and increase the level of success in your fishing days.

In the FlyCenter Club we have realized that traditionally, fly casting clinics are done during just one day, in which the instructor explains what he can do according to the level of the students, and then, they practice for a while. It ends up being more a fly casting exhibition by the instructor than a true improvement-learning class.
Once the course is finished, we do not touch the rod again until the following fishing day. Without practicing , everything learned is forgotten. Moreover, we usually make the mistake of thinking that we´ve learned how to cast a fly properly because we´ve attended a fly course. Error!!!!
Our idea is to change all this. Our students will practice every month the fly casting so as not to lose what they have learned and to be able to improve each day their skills.
With the Saturday Cast you will be able to boost your cast, and if so, you´ll have the possibility of attending one of our Masterclasses where you can get the most out of it.
It is a pity to see great instructors giving courses in which they do not advance more than one "casting and presentation". With the practice in the Saturday Cast, you could learn more technical and advanced castings attending our Master Classes.

We think that the technique is very important but to become a good fly caster there is only one way ... to practice, practice, practice and practice the learned technique.

With this philosophy, we start Saturday Cast in The Fly Center Club one weekend a month, so you can practice fly casting month after month, and thus, be able to become both an accurate caster and a good angler at the same time.

Along with the Saturday Cast we will have two Masterclasses to improve the technique and your skills by two of the most recognized fly casters worldwide; Carlos Azpilicueta and Christopher Rownnes.

In summary, we offer two kind of courses:

- A masterclass of fly casting by Carlos and Chris to improve your skills and learn new casting techniques.

- The Saturday Cast by our instructors Pakito Muela and Jose Manuel to practice and learn the basic movements to fly cast.

A complete training program in fly casting continue month by month is what we propose from the FlyCenter CLUB

The practice continued and guided by good instructors is the only way to learn properly all about the fly casting.
